What Nibbly is

Nibbly is a social app for rating and ranking the things you eat and drink. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, and profile photo, via Firebase Authentication (Google, Apple, or email sign-in).
• Content you create: ratings, reviews, photos, collections, comments, messages, and the places you choose to tag.
• Social graph: who you follow and who follows you.
• Push tokens: if you enable notifications.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't track your location in the background — places are only attached to a rating when you tag them yourself.
• We don't put ads in your feed, and money never influences scores or rankings.

How your content is shared

Ratings and collections are visible to other users according to your profile settings. If your profile is private, your lists are not publicly shareable. Public share pages (nibbly links) show only what a follower would see.

Aggregated insights

We may use anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. "this category is trending") for product insights. This never includes personal data and is never shown back in a way that identifies you.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account in the app under Settings, which removes your account and content. For questions or manual deletion requests, contact lundquistsdaniel@gmail.com.

• Firebase (authentication, push notifications)
• Cloudinary (image hosting)
• Railway (API and database hosting)
• Open Food Facts and similar public product databases (product lookups)
